This essential, entry-level position is foundational to our operations, ensuring the efficiency, cleanliness, and security of our construction sites across all phases of development. The primary responsibilities involve performing general manual labor and providing crucial, hands-on support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and electricians, as directed by the site foreman or supervisor. Key duties commence with extensive site preparation and continuous cleanup, which includes the meticulous removal of construction rubble, debris, and waste materials using various hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. Workers are directly responsible for the systematic loading, careful unloading, and precise transport of diverse building materials—such as lumber, drywall, cement bags, piping, and tools—to their designated work areas throughout the site, often requiring heavy lifting. The role also involves the practical tasks of mixing and pouring concrete, digging trenches, assisting with the erection and dismantling of temporary structures, setting up safety barricades, and installing required directional and cautionary signage. Candidates must possess robust physical stamina, proven dexterity, and the sustained ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform repetitive, labor-intensive tasks over extended work periods, often exposed to varied and challenging weather conditions.
