Key responsibilities include extensive physical labor such as regular mowing of lawns and turf areas using push or ride-on mowers, trimming and edging sidewalks and garden beds for a neat appearance, and weeding flowerbeds and planted areas by hand or using basic tools. Workers will be responsible for preparing soil for new planting projects, assisting with the installation of seasonal flowers, shrubs, and mulch, and spreading fertilizers as directed. Regular maintenance tasks involve raking leaves, collecting yard waste, and loading debris onto disposal trucks to ensure a clean and tidy environment. The role requires the ability to use and maintain basic gardening tools safely, including shears, trowels, hoses, and rakes. All work must be carried out while strictly following safety guidelines and adhering to schedules provided by the landscaping supervisor.
