This position involves essential manual labor and site support, playing a crucial role in preparing the workspace for skilled tilers and ensuring a smooth workflow. No formal tiling experience is required, but a strong work ethic and physical fitness are mandatory.

Your primary responsibilities will center on preparation and cleanup. This includes transporting, loading, and unloading heavy boxes of tiles, bags of grout, cement, and other related materials across the construction site. A key task involves preparing surfaces for tiling; this means sweeping, cleaning, and sometimes lightly sanding floors and walls to ensure they are free of debris and ready for adhesive application. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning all tools, buckets, mixers, and equipment used by the skilled tilers immediately after use.

Furthermore, you will assist the skilled team by accurately measuring and mixing setting materials, such as mortar and adhesive, ensuring the consistency and quantity meet the tiler’s specifications. You may also be tasked with removing old or damaged tiles and properly disposing of construction waste and packaging materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times.

The role demands significant physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy supplies, kneel for long periods, and work in varied site conditions. You must adhere strictly to all international site safety regulations, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Successful candidates are punctual, dependable, and capable of following precise verbal instructions efficiently to support the skilled team and meet project deadlines.
