We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to fill the role of Non-Skilled Plumber’s Helper to assist our licensed plumbing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the plumbing trade, offering on-the-job training and exposure to a wide range of tasks.

The primary responsibility of the Plumber’s Helper is to provide essential physical support and basic logistical assistance to the skilled plumbers on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Key duties include the preparation of work areas, which involves clearing access points, laying down drop cloths, and ensuring the workspace is safe and organized before and after work commences.

The role requires manual labor such as digging trenches for pipe installation and repair, carrying and transporting heavy pipes, fittings, tools, and equipment to different work locations, and ensuring all necessary materials are available for the plumber. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work vehicle and keeping tools clean, organized, and properly stored.

A successful candidate must possess strong physical endurance, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Crucially, the individual must be highly dependable, punctual, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn plumbing techniques and safety procedures. You must be able to follow verbal and written instructions from the lead plumber accurately and efficiently. Strict adherence to all company and site safety regulations is mandatory. No prior plumbing experience is required, but a strong commitment to teamwork and reliability is essential. This is a foundational role that offers direct mentorship and a pathway to developing specialized trade skills.
